Acer Palmatum Mizuho Beni
In spring, the leaves open in bright green hues, with hints of red. During the summer they open into a rich green with subtle bronze undertones. In the autumn the leaves are vibrant shades of yellow and orange,
Can grow 6 to 8 ft in 10 years.
The plant supplied is in a 1 litre pot and approximately 30-50cm from the top of the pot. Please note you may not receive the exact plant in the photo but it will be of the same quality.
We recommend repotting between April and June as long as there is sufficient root to do so. Acer's need time to root around in their new pot before the winter.
Repot into a 3 litre pot - anything bigger may result in the plant not surviving as they don't like to be over potted.
Use an ericaceous soil mixed with potting bark as they need a free draining medium.
Water well in the spring and summer and stop watering once the leaves have fallen off in the autumn - they will not tolerate sitting damp over the winter.
Enjoy the amazing autumn colours
Unfortunately we can no longer send plants to Northern Ireland due to complications with the new customs and plant health controls.
All pictures are of our own plants and the have been propagated by ourselves at our family run Nursery.
