Opens green in the spring and summer changing to  bright yellows that become infused with orange and red in the autumn.  Tight dense habit.

Ultimate habit of 15-20m in 20 years.

The plant supplied is in a 1 litre pot and approximately 30-40cm from the top of the pot. Please note you may not receive the exact plant in the photo but it will be of the same quality.

  • We recommend repotting from March until the end of June as Acer's need time to root around in their new pot before the winter.

  • Repot into a 3 litre pot - anything bigger may result in the plant not surviving as they don't like to be over potted.

  • Use an ericaceous soil mixed with potting bark as they need a free draining medium.

  • Water well in the spring and summer and stop watering once the leaves have fallen off in the autumn - they will not tolerate sitting damp over the winter.
