Those listed as “out of stock” at the moment will be available June time when our next batch of 1 litres Acers have rooted themselves round in the pot. Although we graft over 10’000 a year not all are sold in 1litre size as we require a large number to be potted into 3litre pots and then into 7.5lt etc.
Our Larger plants are available from our nursery.

Barthélemy & Co was established in 1920 and is a family-run nursery offering an old-fashioned atmosphere with a friendly one-to-one service. Our nursery is situated approximately 3 miles east of Wimborne at Stapehill, Dorset. All of our plants are propagated and grown at our nursery and we sell all sizes from seedlings to 8ft trees.
Around the nursery, we have planted mature trees which make a beautiful display, especially in the autumn.
We are well worth a visit!

Drawing on many years of experience propagating and growing Japanese Maples, we can help and advise customers when they are choosing from our extensive range. The pot-grown plants are available in various sizes and are suitable for bonsai, balcony and patio or garden. The plants are mound-forming, bush or upright in habitat. Many Japanese Maple varieties have contrasting leaf forms that complement each other, these range from Filigree to Autumn moon.
Throughout spring, summer and autumn the delicate foliage of the Acer presents exquisite shadings of Mother Nature’s gold, pink, purple, green, yellow, orange and red. Acers are a delightful addition to anyone’s garden, giving an aura of peace and tranquillity. For any advice please send us an email or give us a call.

Our Plants
We sell over 100 named varieties of Acer palmatum ranging in size form 1 year grafts in a 7cm pot to 6-8ft trees. All larger trees are for collection only from our nursery in Dorset .
